Valentina's house located in Ladispoli, Italy, benefited from a defined interior renovation from Maurizio Giovannoni, a strategic make-up made without changing the original distribution of space.

After establishing the budget policy, the first step involved the planning of the more significant interventions. For example, the removal of an arch from the old-fashioned taste and the replacement of a spatula that was considered too rustic in favor of a white wall paint.

The planning of the design was followed by the implementation phase and the opening of the construction site.

According to the established plans, the corridor entry and the residence have been completely redesigned.

For the renovation, the designers chose together with the owner - Valentina - to adopt a minimalistic Nordic Style with a declination in two shades: mint and mustard.

The styling of the house tells the story of a young professional who has made his passion for writing the element of the success of his work as a copywriter: on the table hangs an Olivetti typewriter, an icon of an era not digital yet.

"The sofa wall follows the Nordic inspiration completing the environment in which we've tried a millimetric balance between vintage pieces and brand cheap, with design elements more refined and contemporary." the architects said.

The bedroom is the result of a co-designing process with the client in the - do it yourself - style: a well-established trend in low-budget restructuring. Particular care and importance were given to the head that houses scattered along cornices and photos, even a shaped iron sculpture by hand, one piece designed and made by hand.

As colored accents scattered on the story of the house wall, it accommodates some colorful paper butterflies that are ironical, creating a never intrusive contrast with the gray of the bottom of the muted colors of the wooden shelves.
