FORMER Bargain Hunt presenter Tim Wonnacott is selling his incredible Sussex mansion three years after he was sacked from the show.

The 67-year-old, who we revealed was suspended from the show following a bust-up with producers in 2015, has put the country estate on the market for £2.75 million as he plans to move to Australia alongside wife Helen.

The ten acres features Whitefoots  – a four bedroom house, a cottage called Blackfoots and a third substantial 4,000 sq ft building called Greyfoots.

Tim, who bought the home in West Sussex in 2011,  overhauled the farmhouse after buying it but kept period features while adding modern luxuries.

Whitefoots has 3,651 sq ft of accommodation with a hall/dining room, a kitchen/breakfast room as well as an extra chef's kitchen.

It also features four bedrooms, all of which have their own bathroom, and a huge open plan living and dining room with French doors.

Blackfoots has three bedrooms, two balconies and a large downstairs living space.

The sprawling grounds feature a full-size tennis court as well as plenty of greenery in and amongst the buildings.

Tim said: “The property is like a little village and it's all down a private road so there's no public traffic, just the odd tractor or combine harvester.

“It's very good for riding and walking with lots of bridleways and footpaths and you don't seen another house or any lights, it's the ultimate privacy.

Bargain Hunt's Tim Wonnacott in action

“My wife and I have had an incredible time here and we will be selling with a heavy heart.”

Tim presented BBC's Bargain Hunt from 2003 until 2015 and has been the narrator of Antiques Road Trip since 2010.

He is planning on spending a lot of time in Australia but will keep a pied-a-terre in the London area.

Because of this Tim  is also selling many of the antiques in his home.

The first auction of the treasures he accumulated sold for £120,000 recently at Sworders, of Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex.

Many of the items were things he had picked up at antique markets while he was filming for the show but his collection is so vast it will be sold over several auctions in the next six months.
